Merchant & Master Merchant

TINGEE supports multi-level financial management, letting partners operate under different models, from individual household businesses to large-scale SaaS platforms.

Before you start

• Base URL: https://uat-open-api.tingee.vn (UAT) · https://open-api.tingee.vn (PROD)
• Authentication: Every request must include the x-client-id and x-request-timestamp headers and the x-signature signature (HMAC SHA512). See Getting an API Key & generating the signature.
• Result: The API always returns HTTP 200; check the code field (00 = success). See Error codes.

Partners run their own business and manage their own points of sale and cash flow. Self-service sign-up and fast integration.

For platforms/SaaS that manage thousands of sub-Merchants. Registration goes through the Tingee team.

Merchant

Merchant is the most common model, for partners who use the service directly.

• Sign up directly at: app.tingee.vn
• Security and authentication: After creating the account, go to Developers to get your ClientId and Secret Token.

Merchant permissions

• Manage Shops & Bank links.
• Manage Devices (TingeeBox, apps).
• Query transactions, reconciliation and revenue reports.
• Use the full Open API for your own account.

Master Merchant

Master Merchant acts as a "parent account" that lets you create and manage multiple sub-Merchants.

⚠️ Note: Master Merchant does not currently support self-service sign-up. Please contact the Tingee team to have one set up.

Advanced permissions

• Create sub-merchants: Automate account provisioning for your customers through the API.
• Delegated operations: When calling APIs, the Master Merchant passes the additional merchantId parameter to identify the target Merchant.
• Full monitoring: Aggregate data from all sub-Merchants for platform management.
